Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) organises staff and parent meetings, new family afternoon teas and fundraising activities. In consultation with the staff and the BOT, the PTA designates the funds it raises for particular needs of the school. School sun hats are subsidised by the PTA. The PTA run the following fundraising activities annually:
- Jogathon
- Calendars with children's artwork
- Bulk Pie Orders
From time to time the PTA may organise personnel for special projects being undertaken by the school.
The PTA committee consists of parent and staff volunteers. Please feel free to attend meetings and become involved. Meeting dates are advertised in the school's weekly newsletter.

2010 PTA Fundraiers
Yummy Apple Stickers: We are still collecting ‘Yummy’ apple stickers and labels! Individual stickers and labels from 2kg bags of apples can be collected and handed in to the school office. ‘Yummy’ apples are available from New World, PaknSave, participating Four Square Stores and other fruit and vegetable retailers. Oxford Pies: Sale of Oxford Pies in Term 1 raised $670.00 for the school - thank you!!!

Easter Raffle: The basket of Easter goodies has been won by Holly of Room 3. This raffle raised $151.00. Thank you
2009 PTA fundraisers
Children's Art on Calendars and Cards: The sale of these items raised $1686 for the school - thank you for your support!
Jog-a-thon: A huge thank you to all our families for the tremendous support of the Jogathon - to date a total of $5781 has been donated – a wonderful result. Special mention and thanks to the Whanau of Ngarangi Mason from Room 21 who collected an amazing $340 in sponsorship.
Yummy Apple Stickers: Our Yummy Apple Stickers collection has now finished. Many thanks to all children, teachers, parents, work colleagues and friends for the great support.
All the stickers collected have contributed towards a donation of $716 worth of sports equipment . There was an outstanding effort from Room 9 children who collected 2889 stickers in total – AN AMAZING EFFORT! Special thanks to all the children and especially the Butler family who contributed a large percentage of this total.
Room 9 received their lunchtime treat last term for collecting the most stickers!

Yummy Apple Stickers: Thank you for helping the children collect stickers and labels from Yummy bags and apples. We collected 6102 stickers for which we receive $500 worth of sports equipment. Keep collecting stickers and labels for next year!
